Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing contract processes from pre-award through to project completion. You will support project teams by ensuring all contractual, commercial, and compliance aspects of construction contracts are effectively administered to mitigate risk and deliver successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review, and administer contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders in accordance with company policies and project requirements.
  • Liaise with project managers, estimators, legal teams, and subcontractors to ensure contract terms are clearly understood and met.
  • Monitor key project and contract milestones, ensuring timely execution of deliverables and compliance with terms.
  • Work with Project Managers, Maintain accurate records of contract documentation, correspondence, change orders, RFIs, variations, claims, and progress reports.
  • Assist in contract negotiation and issue resolution with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Support the preparation and submission of progress claims, payment schedules, and closeout documentation.
  • Identify and report contractual risks, inconsistencies, or compliance issues early to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide advice and support on construction law and contract interpretation where required.
  • Ensure contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including safety, environmental, and labor laws and including the monitoring of EEO, DBE, MBE, WBE.
  • Pre-qualification and On-Boarding of Subcontractors and Vendors.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Business, Law, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5+ years of experience in contract administration in the construction industry.
  • Solid understanding of construction contracts (e.g., AIA, NEC, or other local standard forms).
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite; experience with project management or contract administration software (e.g., Procore, Aconex, Jobpac, or similar.)
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines across multiple projects.

Desirable
  • Experience with large-scale commercial, infrastructure, or civil construction projects.
  • Familiarity with construction procurement processes both private and public sector.
